You hear about Uber violence occasionally but I'd expect they're actually a lot safer than taxis since both driver and passenger requested the ride with their real identities. Is there any data on taxi assaults?

I guess the alternative argument would be taxi drivers are professionals and Uber drivers are random people. Would be good to see the data
